About ten years ago on a training mission, Ranma and his father became
friends with Ukyo and her father. The friendship between Ranma and Ucchan
(Ranma gave Ukyo this nickname) became so close that they ended up having
a friendly competition in that if Ranma could defeat Ucchan, she would
have to give him okonomiyaki for free. |

Little did Ranma know that the 6 year old Ucchan was a girl and she
was in love with him way back then. In fact, Ranma thought that she was
a he. Ucchan's father and Ranma's father set up a engagement between the
two in which Mr. Kuonji's okonomiyaki cart was thrown in as the dowry.
However, Genma plotted to take just the cart and when the day finally
arrived
in which Ranma had to leave, Ucchan was abandoned. Poor Ranma did not even
know about the engagement or that Ucchan was a girl!!! |

"Who'd thought little 'Ucchan' would grow up so cute?"
Ridiculed by her peers for her fiancé running off with the
family
business, Ucchan vowed to never love another man again and to live a life
as a man. She went to an all-boys school and swore revenge on Ranma and
hunted him for ten years and finally caught up with him in High School.
They fought, and Ranma finally discovered that Ucchan was a girl. Then
Ranma called Ucchan 'cute' (much to Akane's dismay). Then she fell in love
with Ranma again. She's also is willing to fight for him, meaning she'll
take on Akane, Shampoo, or Kodachi any time. |
