Nadoka is a kind sweet talking person, a very good cook, and the
mother
of Ranma Saotome. If you have been following the Ranma 1/2 story, you
might
wonder why Genma and Ranma are afraid of her. It all started when Ranma
was a child and Genma promised Nadoka (his wife) that he would make a man
out of Ranma, and if he didn't they would commit seppeku (which is a
painful
suicide). Nadoka said he did not have to do it, but Genma insisted. Well,
as you should know by now, Ranma turns into a girl, making him less of
a man. Now Nadoka is after them to make sure they follow their
promise. |
| Ranko = Ranma
To avoid being revealed, Ranma turns himself into girl-type Ranma.
Nadoka
calls him 'Ranko' and Ranma/Ranko calls her her/his aunty (although she
is really his mom). |

Panda Bear
Poor Genma. Every time Nadoka comes over he turns himself into a panda.
While everyone else is enjoying her delicious home-cooked meals, Genma
is left with the leftovers (and at worst Akane's cooking). |
