Akane Tendo is a student of the Tendo Training Hall and the daughter
of Soun Tendo. She was engaged to Ranma Saotome by her father, Soun and
Ranma's father, Genma. She is constantly beating on Ranma for insulting
her or letting other women flirt with him. She also has two sisters,
Nabiki
and Kasumi . Ranma always refers to her as an un-cute tomboy, but it seems
that their attraction for each other increases as the story
progresses. |

Akane just loves P-chan, and she sleeps with him every night. Little
does she know that P-chan is really Ryoga. Ranma hates the presence of
P-chan is Akane's arms, but Akane thinks that he is weird for being
jealous
over a pet pig. |

Akane at School
Everyday at school Akane had to fight off every male that goes there
just to get to class! This is because of Tatewaki Kuno, the self absorbed
bully of Furinkan High School. Tatewaki gave a speech in a speech contest
at the high school that said if anyone could beat Akane in combat they
could go out with her. But finally the boys of Furinkan High gave up on
Akane and acknowledged her engagement to Ranma. However, Kuno continues
to seek for Akane's love and believes that Ranma is not good enough for
her. |

For some reason, Akane and Ranma are always getting in each others way.
Most of the time it results in the beating of Ranma from Akane. Although
it is obvious that they are attracted to each other, why can't they just
get along? |

| Akane's Cooking (be afraid)
Yes, that's right. Be very afraid of Akane's cooking. One small
taste will knock you unconscience. She can overcome any foe with her
deadly
food. For some reason Akane just can't cook (even though she swears she
tried her best, which probably does), and when she does, everyone tries
to avoid it (especially Ranma). |
